As we joyfully embark on the milestone of our 10th anniversary of Chaldean Youth Camp (CYC) at Our Lady of the Fields Camp and Retreat Center, we reflect on the remarkable journey that has brought us to this celebratory moment. Over the past decade, CYC has been a beacon of faith, fellowship, and fun, providing a unique platform for elementary, middle, and high school campers to unite across the diocese.

At CYC, our foundation is rooted in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” This verse guides our camp, emphasizing the importance of creating an environment where children can experience the love of Christ. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we thank God for all the graces He has bestowed upon us throughout the past decade. We are grateful for the countless memories, friendships, and moments of spiritual growth. With a heart full of gratitude, we anticipate all the continued blessings and growth that God has in store for Chaldean Youth Camp in the years to come. Thank you for being an integral part of our incredible journey over the past 10 years.

“It is always difficult entrusting your children in the care of someone else, especially when it is completely voluntary for summer camps. With that being said, at CYC families and children are welcomed with open arms by the leadership and volunteers who are excited to see them, and truly want them at camp.
